Turning 18

Turning 18 isn't a big deal. Okay, yes you can now legally do more but it's not like the Hollywood narrative where you suddenly wake up on your birthday and you're a whole new person. But what it did make me reflect on was the things that I have learned over the years. People leave - realationships fail - it's normal. I'm not going to pretend to have an elaborate explanation on why this happens, but I guess it's just a product of growing and changing as a person. School is tough - whether its the workload or the people it's not easy but once you have finished with education you never have to restrict your learning to a building and strict curriculum again. You change in many ways - You will find yourself loving things that you once hated. Wanting to change your entire wardrobe (but probably not having any money to do so). Suddenly losing interest in things and not being able to find your mojo. Just like relationships, stuff happens because we grow...

Paris, France 2018

We're making progress on the travelling front, not only have I planned a rough road trip (please car, don't die) but I have spent a few days in Paris. I didn't take my camera because we did only take hand luggage but my iPhone served me well.
